Ben Swart

Ben Swart is an award winning fundraiser and trainer and Director of Bright Spot Fundraising he helps people feel more confident raising money. Whether the only member of staffing a small charity, or CEO’s of some of the world’s most well known charities.  

He has over 20 years experience in fundraising, including roles in supporter care, major gifts, corporate partnerships and learning and development. He was also responsible for the learning support of the Fundraising Department at the NSPCC, working alongside Rob Woods. His role included delivering the core training programme for all fundraising colleagues and the award-winning Explaining the Strategy Through Story programme – which was rolled out to over 2,000 members of staff.

Ben is an experienced international speaker, including the International Fundraising Congress (IFC) Amsterdam, the Portuguese, Norwegian, Scottish Fundraising Conferences, the Chartered Institute of Fundraising Convention, Pizza for Losers, IWITOT, and many many more.
