Meena Das

Meena Das (she/her) is the founder of Namaste Data and Data Is For Everyone, where she works at the intersection of data equity, AI equity, and responsible technology. A researcher, consultant, educator, and speaker, she helps nonprofits and philanthropic organizations navigate AI with care, curiosity, and accountability.

Meena leads the AI Equity Project, a three-year research initiative drawing on more than 2,400 organizational survey responses across the United States and Canada. Her research has informed the development of the AI Equity Framework and practical tools that help organizations examine AI through the lenses of power, access, governance, and human impact.
