CAST and #FixtheForm join forces to share how funders are responding to feedback on their grantmaking practices.

We know it can be incredibly awkward or difficult to share feedback about poor grantmaking practices when you’re also in the midst of applying for those funds. By coming together we can build consensus, highlight the most pressing issues, and push collectively for change.

#FixtheForm is a grassroots international movement driving practical changes to funder application forms and processes, informed entirely by those applying for funds. GrantAdvisor UK is a free online service that allows grantseekers to share their anonymous feedback on working with UK funders. The service was re-launched in May 2023 by CAST, a charity that helps social impact organisations make the fullest use of digital technology, in order to be as responsive and resilient as possible.

In this session, we will share insights from our work with funders, sharing what we’ve been focusing on and why – and where there is still work to be done.

There will also be a chance to reflect, share and learn from each other about your experiences of applying for funds, and the issues you feel are most pressing for grant-makers to address.
