In this session Jodie discusses swapping causes.
Having fundraised for children and young people, arts and culture, animals, and homelessness, Jodie is no stranger to moving causes. This session explores the challenges that can come from moving to a completely different world of fundraising, and some tips for how to make that jump less intimidating.
Jodie’s career began on the Arts Fundraising Fellowship – a professional training programme for cultural sector fundraisers. During the fellowship, she worked at the youth charity Artswork and completed a postgraduate certificate in Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy. Jodie then went on to work at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, Depaul UK, and is now Trusts & Foundations Manager at the National Theatre. Her expertise includes writing compelling proposals and building high-value relationships to help great causes.
