Ally Rea

Ally is a fundraising and marketing professional with 20 years’ experience in the sector, working with charities large and small, with broad experience in strategic and operational roles across the arts, heritage, disability, health and media sectors.

She sees fundraising and marketing as two sides of the same coin, enjoys a good spreadsheet and appreciates the infographic to support storytelling. She embraces her critical friend role as a consultant, and brings energy, curiosity and care to her assignments.
Her fundraising experience centres on Trusts & Foundations with some time in corporate partnerships, but she has also been hands-on in community-based fundraising, for example raising £80k+ in a year for a local state primary school charity. She also has experience on the other side of the desk assessing funding applications for Arts Council England.
