Amsel has been an accountant working in the not-for profit and social enterprise sector for over 15 years. She has had a varied career across employed roles, freelance and voluntary posts. She has been treasurer for multiple LGBTQ+ charities, and chair of a national trans and gender diversity organisation. As a consultant, she worked across projects large and small; from advising sub £100k charities to handling budgets for multi-million pound projects. She specialised in managing transformation within financial systems, taking organisations at critical junctures in their life and ensuring they have the stability and resource base to survive, and then thrive. She now works in the charitable health sector as a finance business partner, providing the link between project delivery and resource management teams.
