Bethan Francis
Bethan is a fundraising strategist and practitioner with over 20 years’ experience in direct response and individual giving. A specialist in telephone fundraising, she has led large-scale calling campaigns for some of the UK’s most recognised charities, including Oxfam GB, Save the Children UK and Cancer Research UK.
Bethan currently heads the UK team at Stratcom, an international agency known for its expertise in telephone, digital and mobile fundraising. Her work centres on using the phone as a powerful tool for supporter engagement, donor retention, and building long-term loyalty through meaningful conversations.
A regular speaker at fundraising conferences across the UK and internationally, Bethan has also written for publications such as The Guardian, Civil Society, and UK Fundraising.
