Bio
Cam has over 12 years of experience in event programming, fundraising and delivery. She started out in the silent auction world, helping charity clients maximise in-room income from their events, before moving to UK youth sports charity The Lord’s Taverners. There she managed a range of special events including their flagship Christmas gala for 1300 people. Whilst traveling and living abroad, Cam created and ran her own copywriting business. On her return to the UK in 2019, she joined the High Value Fundraising Events team at Cancer Research UK and has been overseeing the portfolio and leading the team as Senior Manager since late 2020.
Events
We’ll argue for and against the traditional gala ball, as well as providing alternative event solutions to help organisations raise vital funds by engaging high net worth individuals.
