Dan Ianson
Head of Digital, Data and Technology
Head of Digital, Data and Technology with 20 years’ experience in the charity and not‑for‑profit sector, leading complex digital, data and technology portfolios across multiple organisations. My background spans enterprise platforms and core systems including CRM, finance, ERP, payroll, procurement and data platforms, with a consistent focus on enabling organisational strategy through technology.
Over the past 18 months, my work has increasingly centred on AI and emerging technologies, including the practical adoption of generative AI, agentic tools, automation and data‑driven decision support. I have led initiatives that explore how AI can be safely, ethically and effectively embedded into day‑to‑day operations, service delivery and internal productivity, alongside strengthening cyber security, information governance and risk management in an evolving threat landscape.
I am an experienced leader with a strong track record in digital strategy, large‑scale system implementation, operating‑model design and team transformation. I am known for building high‑performing, multidisciplinary teams and for translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable outcomes for senior stakeholders and boards.
Throughout my career, I have successfully delivered programmes using Agile, Lean, Scrum and Waterfall methodologies, selecting the right approach to balance pace, risk and organisational maturity. I am recognised as a self‑starter who drives momentum, brings clarity to ambiguity, and delivers realistic, achievable plans that result in measurable impact.
