David's journey with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) began over a decade ago when he joined as a beach lifeguard during university summers. His initial experience on the frontlines of water safety ignited his passion for the organisation's mission, leading him to pursue a career dedicated to making a difference in fundraising.
After graduating university in Marketing and working for several different digital marketing agencies, David joined the Legacy and In Memory Marketing team as an executive at the RNLI. 4 years later he is now the Senior Marketing Manager, looking after the RNLI’s flagship in memory product: Launch a Memory and several other Legacy and In Memory offerings.
Launch a Memory holds a special place with David as it allows supporters to celebrate and remember the life of someone they miss by adding their loved one’s name to the numbers and letters of a new all-weather lifeboat. So, they’ll be there alongside the lifeboat crew, every time the call for help comes.
