Dean leads the UK’s Digital, Creative and Mass Marketing Team at International Justice Mission, the world’s largest anti-slavery organisation.

He holds an MA in Politics, Psychology and Sociology from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford. During his academic career, he was elected to Buchanan Scholarship and was the recipient of the John Butterfield Harvard Award to study Financial Management of Non-Profit Organisations at Harvard University.

Dean is a Trustee for Face Equality International, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce and a Fellow of Clore Social Leadership, having been named as an Emerging Leader for the Third Sector (2019). He is a Code Champion of the Charity Digital Code of Practice and holds a Diploma in Digital and Direct Marketing from the IDM with distinction and was accorded the IDM's Tutor Award. He currently serves as a board member on the FICO Special Interest Group and is a certified member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, having won the FICO Charles Gibbs Award and graduated with distinction.
