

Dean Gillespie leads the UK’s Digital, Creative, and Mass Marketing team at International Justice Mission — one of the world’s largest anti-slavery organisations working to end trafficking and violence worldwide. He’s passionate about using digital innovation and bold storytelling to mobilise supporters and build powerful movements for lasting freedom and justice.
Dean is a qualified fundraising and marketing professional, a Charity Digital Code Champion, and a certified member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising. He also holds diplomas in Digital & Direct Marketing from the Institute of Data and Marketing (DMA) and Search Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute.
He serves as a Trustee of Face Equality International, is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, and a Clore Social Leadership Fellow. Dean studied at the universities of Cambridge and Oxford and received the John Butterfield Harvard Award to study Non-Profit Financial Management at Harvard University, USA.
