Deanna Wolf

Bio

Deanna is a target-driven trust fundraising professional able to deliver to tight deadlines. She has worked as a fundraiser at a variety of organisations and charities for almost 18 years. Her multi-disciplinary, detail-orientated, and analytical approach is creative and effective when setting up or expanding trust fundraising programmes. She is experienced at developing and managing comprehensive revenue, project, and capital trust approaches – from research through to stewardship, including project, budget, and proposal development, needs assessment and analysis. Deanna brings with her research knowledge and experience gained as a librarian at one of the largest public libraries in the United States. Recently, Deanna turned around a trust and statutory fundraising programme to stabilise a period of uncertainty within a national organisation, establishing new and improving current donor relationships that resulted in £1.22 million in 3-year funding awards. So far, Deanna has raised approximately £6.5 million in grants ranging from £50 to £1.8 million in value.

Deanna gained valuable sectoral insight as the Project Leader for Trusts & Foundations on the Commission of the Donor Experience and the Chair of the Trusts, Statutory and Foundations Special Interest Group for the Institute of Fundraising (Scotland). She speaks and delivers training sessions on trust research and fundraising at national and regional fundraising conferences in England, Northern Ireland, and Scotland and for individual charities and groups.
