I am Elsbeth and I began my career as a Commercial Sales Director before moving into fundraising over 16 years ago. Since then, I’ve built, led, and overseen Face-to-Face programmes in more than 25 markets across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. Having lived and worked in six countries, I bring a strong understanding of diverse cultures and operating environments.
I’ve worked with Save the Children, WWF, World Vision, and the UN World Food Programme, and partnered with major INGOs including UNICEF, UNHCR, SOS Children’s Villages, Greenpeace, MSF, CARE International, and Oxfam. My experience spans building in-house F2F teams, designing hybrid and agency models, and developing cross-market partnerships that drive sustainable long-term growth.
As Global F2F Specialist at Save the Children International, I supported 25 markets on strategy, ROI, and KPI optimisation. For WFP, I conducted a global F2F feasibility study that now underpins the organisation’s first worldwide F2F roll-out, which I am currently supporting across several regions. I also developed WWF Adria’s first integrated Individual Giving programme, covering digital acquisition, F2F, telemarketing, and donor retention.
Beyond F2F, I bring experience in digital and DRTV acquisition, strong financial modelling skills, and an extensive international network. As former Chair of the International F2F Fundraising Leadership Group (IFL), I played a key role in strengthening global collaboration and advancing best practices across INGOs.
