Joe Jenkins
Joe is Executive Director, Social Impact at The Children’s Society, leading our efforts to create societal change for the benefit of children while growing support for our work – including through advocacy and campaigning, partnerships/alliances, supporter engagement and income generation.
Working in the charity sector for over 20 years, Joe has focussed his efforts on helping people to achieve as much impact as possible for the causes that inspire them. He was previously Director of Engagement at Friends of the Earth overseeing their campaign activism, communications and fundraising, as well as Acting CEO. Prior to this, Joe worked with a wide range of different charities, including Royal National Institute of Blind People, NSPCC, British Red Cross, WWF and IFAW.
Joe is Vice Chair and Trustee for Refugee Action, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, Member of the CIoF Standards Advisory Board and Host of the leadership podcast “On The Mind Of…”. He lives in Hove with his wife, daughter and puppy Axl Rose.
