Matt is a fundraiser, innovator and futurist. As THINK’s Managing Director, he is responsible for staying at the forefront of the not-for-profit sector, understanding and analysing the latest trends and innovations, and how and when these will impact the organisations we work with. Alongside leading THINK’s constant drive for innovation and transformation, Matt thrives in delivering impactful and sustainable work for our clients.

A fundraiser for 14 years, Matt’s consultancy specialisms lie in cross-organisational transformation and strategy development, new function and product development and blending new digital methods with traditional fundraising techniques. An expert facilitator and problem solver, Matt is in his element when faced with a complex challenge to crack or opportunity to develop. In recent years, he has been at the forefront of the future of work debate and much of his work centres on how new technologies and ways of working can be best adopted to build a thriving and sustainable working culture.

As a practitioner Matt has led fundraising innovation programmes at £100 million+ charities, as well as the testing, development, and growth of numerous digital and supporter-led campaigns. As a senior leader he has delivered multi-million-pound income targets and is in his element leading and working with large teams of fundraisers and campaign managers.

A passionate advocate of digital fundraising and the power of technology to revolutionise fundraising. Matt champions innovation based on robust data and audience insight over the latest unproven fad or flash-in-the-pan.
