Megan joined the Community Hospice as a community fundraiser in 2013 and has since risen to Head of Fundraising, where she fosters a team culture that prioritises relationships over revenue. Originally a forensic biology student, Megan discovered her passion for fundraising through volunteer work, finding purpose in connecting with supporters and understanding what matters most to them.

Under Megan’s leadership, the team have embraced agility and innovation, achieving a 48% increase in total fundraising income and doubling lottery revenue over five years. She has shared her insights at the Hospice Income Generation Network Conference 2025 and Hospice UK Annual Conference, presenting on transformative fundraising strategies.

An advocate for relationship fundraising, Megan brings a unique perspective, drawn from hands-on experience in nearly every fundraising role at the hospice. She has also served as an executive member and trustee for the Hospice Income Generation Network and has held leadership roles in BNI.
