I joined the charity sector in 2023, coming from a sports background after working with a community football club in Suffolk for 7 years. As Sporting Events Officer, I manage many of our portfolio event partnerships, including all our international marathon partnerships. I’m passionate about the positive impact sport and sportspeople can have on the world, and with 1 in 2 of us expected to be directly affected by dementia in our lifetime, either by developing it, caring for someone with it, or both, I couldn’t think of a more meaningful cause to be part of.
