

Olga Chevganiuk is a public activist advocating for animal rights in Ukraine. Olga has a degree in management. After gaining experience in entrepreneurship, she joined the humane movement, UAnimals.
Since 2018, Olga has been working with UAnimals, starting from its informal initiative phase to its current position as the largest animal rights movement in Ukraine. Throughout this journey, she has held various roles, adapting to the changing needs of the organization.
Currently, Olga serves as the head of the Department of Strategic Initiatives at UAnimals. One of her key projects is the #StopEcocideUkraine campaign, aimed at recognizing Russian ecological crimes in Ukraine. She also leads the advocacy department to push for systematic changes in Ukrainian legislation to improve animal rights. In her role, Olga works with strategic partners to empower the movement, ensuring the protection of animals and nature amidst the war in Ukraine.
In addition to her work at UAnimals, Olga is an active speaker at international conferences, including the Animal Politics Conference (Netherlands), CARE Conference (Poland), and the International Animal Rights Conference (Luxembourg). She also organized UAnimals' participation in COP28 in 2024 as part of the Ukrainian hall, representing Ukrainian environmental concerns on a global stage.
Olga collaborates with prominent organizations such as Stop Ecocide Ukraine, Fur Free Alliance, Dolphinarium Free Europe, and others, strengthening the international movement for animal welfare and ecological protection.
