I began my career as a street fundraiser in what was intended to be a ‘stop gap’ at the age of 18. From there I went on to lead teams, regions and national campaigns working both agency and charity side. In more recent years, I spent 5 years at PDSA, responsible for public fundraising where I took a special interest in governance and compliance. I currently work as Fundraising and Marketing Compliance Manager at Macmillan Cancer Support. In my spare time I serve as a Board Trustee for SOFII (Showcase of Fundraising Innovation and Inspiration), sit on the Data and Marketing Association's Governance Committee and also volunteer my time helping local wildlife rescues.
