Roxanne Nazir is a Program Officer at the Economic Justice Program leading a global portfolio on new forms of organizing for building worker power. Roxanne has worked for the Open Society Foundations for a decade including in the Early Childhood Program, their European regional office and briefly in the Executive Office. Prior to this she worked at RedR, Global Abilities Foundation and Center for Eco-Cultural Studies in Sri Lanka. Roxanne also serves on the Executive Board of Leeds Gate Gypsy and Traveller Exchange and on the organizing group of the Grant Givers Movement. Roxanne has a first-class degree in social anthropology from Brunel University, an MSc (with merit) in international development studies from the London School of Economics and an MSc in NGO management at Cass Business School (with distinction).
