Sarah Washington is an award-winning freelance Fundraising consultant and currently Interim Director of Fundraising at ActionAid UK.

Her experience spans international development, humanitarian response, social mobility, education and arts and heritage. Prior to consultancy, Sarah was the Founding Director of Fundraising and Communications at Sir Lewis Hamilton’s Foundation, Mission 44. She has developed significant transformational partnerships and campaigns with philanthropic supporters at organisations, including UNICEF, VSO and the International Rescue Committee. Prior to her fundraising career she worked in Marketing and Advertising in London, managing corporate accounts in the financial services sector. She is Trustee of STIR Education and in her spare time loves photography, live music, travel and running around after her 4 year old son and cat Ella.
