Veronica Seymour

Veronica Seymour joined the nonprofit world 12 years ago through the AmeriCorps Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) program in Houston, Texas with the College For all Texans Foundation. She spent a year with Houston Independent School District and Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority. For 7 years, Veronica served southern Nevada in various capacities by holding positions with Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada, Opportunity Village, Easterseals Nevada (now Capability Health & Human Services), and Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation.

Currently, Veronica works as a Speaker with Real Talk Agency. She stepped into the world of fundraising consultant/freelance work in 2019.

Veronica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Victim Services from Sam Houston State University and received her certificate for Nonprofit Management at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive. She recently completed the DEI in the Workplace Certificate through the University of South Florida.

Raised in a military family, service to others has been instilled in Veronica. She currently serves on the Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation Board of Directors. Veronica is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, where she served as the 2020 Immediate Past President for the Las Vegas Chapter. In what’s left of her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and staying active.
