Details
Legacy giving is decided slowly and privately, and rarely in a straight line. This session offers a working foundation in thirty minutes, built on how supporters come to the decision to leave a gift in their will, and on the other audiences who shape it, including those inside your own organisation. You will leave with the Gifts in Wills Decision Map and a handout to work through on your own supporter journey, whatever your budget.
Key learnings from this sesssion:
- Who leaves gifts in wills, and what the evidence tells us about them.
- How supporters reach the decision, and why it is a loop rather than a funnel.
- Where a charity can help, and where it is better to step back
