Host toolkit

Essential resources, expert advice, and a video guide to help virtual event hosts prepare confidently for a polished performance.

You should also know…

…what to expect in the lead up to the event. Here’s an outline of important dates.

  • Event Manager check-in.
    • Action: Your Event Manager will reach out to set you up and ensure you have everything you need.
  • No less than one month before: Receive event/invite.
    • Action: You should receive a calendar invite for your specific session time and details.
  • Two weeks before the event (for conferences): Speaker Roundtable.
    • Action: There will be a live Q&A/networking session with fellow speakers.
  • Two weeks before the event: Pre-recordings Due.
  • The week before the event: Rehearsals.
  • Four working days before the event: Final slides/resources Due.
    • Action: A copy of your slides (PDF) and any resources for the delegate bag are needed by this deadline.
