2025 was a big year for us. A year of growth, learning, and deliberate investment. And 2026 is about making sure all of that translates into something even better for you.
This is our review of what we focused on in 2025 – and what we’re committing to next.
What 2025 taught us
2025 was a year where we could have pushed harder on growth alone. Instead, we chose to strengthen the foundations.
Behind the scenes, we invested heavily in things that don’t always look exciting from the outside, but make a huge difference to your experience.
What we focused on in 2025
- A stronger learning platform
We invested significantly in rebuilding and improving our website and learning platform. That work was about speed, stability, accessibility and making it easier for you to find, watch and revisit the content you need. - More consistent, high-quality learning
Our conferences, webinars and training continued to grow — with record attendance, strong feedback on speaker quality, and more people watching on-demand than ever before. We focused on repeating what worked, rather than constantly reinventing for the sake of it. - Membership as the heart of what we do
Individual and organisational membership continued to grow, with improved retention and better conversion from free trials. That told us something important: when people experience Fundraising Everywhere properly, they tend to stay. - Better partnerships and sponsorships
We shifted towards longer-term, more sustainable partnerships. That stability matters because it allows us to plan better, invest with confidence, and avoid short-term decisions that don’t serve the community. - Community-first decisions
From free tickets for people at risk of redundancy, to accessible pricing and supportive spaces, we continued to lean into what makes Fundraising Everywhere feel different. The feedback we received reinforced that this approach matters.
As one community member put it:
“I feel like I always have somewhere to go when I need support.”
That’s the bar we hold ourselves to.
Why 2026 looks different (and better)
All of our planning for 2026 came back to one core question:
How do we make Fundraising Everywhere the easiest, most valuable place for fundraisers to build skills and confidence – without adding noise or complexity?
The answer isn’t “do more”. It’s do the right things, better.
So our 2026 focus is simple:
Double down on what works, reduce friction everywhere we can, and prioritise the things that improve long-term loyalty and impact.
Our commitments for 2026
Here’s what that means in practice for our community.
1. A smoother, more intuitive experience
We’re continuing to invest in the platform so it feels easier and calmer to use.
That includes:
- clearer journeys from events into membership
- better tagging, organisation and refreshing of on-demand content
- fewer “where do I find…?” moments
- improved checkout and booking experiences
Less friction means you spend less time navigating – and more time learning.
2. Better events, not just more of them
Live learning remains central to Fundraising Everywhere, but in 2026 the focus is on quality of experience.
We’re committing to:
- improving the live event platform and delivery
- clearer feedback loops so we act on what you tell us
- better speaker briefing and quality assurance
- more opportunities to connect, not just watch
This includes continuing to explore in-person events where they genuinely add value, not just because “AI is trendy”.
3. Membership that earns its place
Membership should feel like a no-brainer, not a nice-to-have.
In 2026 we’re investing in:
- stronger onboarding for new members
- clearer value at every stage of the journey
- refreshed core training and fundamentals
- practical tools, guarantees and pathways that help you apply learning, not just consume it
We’ll be measuring things like retention, engagement and repeat attendance – because those tell us whether we’re actually helping, not just selling.
4. Using profit to improve what you experience
We’re open about this: when Fundraising Everywhere does well, that surplus is reinvested back into the community.
In 2026 that means continued investment in:
- systems and automation that let us respond faster and serve more people well
- content development and speaker support
- community initiatives and experiments
- the team that makes Fundraising Everywhere work
Growth only matters if it makes the experience better. That’s the lens we use.
5. A team set up to do its best work
None of this works without a healthy, supported team behind it.
Internally, we’re committed to:
- clearer priorities and expectations
- better processes and fewer bottlenecks
- ongoing training and development
- funding staff skills and testing and learning
That translates directly into better experiences for you – because a focused, confident team delivers better work.
