Sarah’s session will explore how to increase your success rates with major donors, trusts and foundations. She will cover practical tips, strategies and frameworks to boost your fundraising programme, taking into account current trends, opportunities and challenges when building relationships with major donors and trusts. With over 15 years experience of high-value fundraising both in-house and as an advisor, Sarah Washington has built successful partnerships with some of the UK’s leading philanthropists and foundations She has developed strategies and led high-performing teams that have gone onto raise multi-millions of pounds supporting impact in both the UK and across the world. Sarah recently held the role of External Relations Director for Mission 44, a global foundation set up by British philanthropist and seven-time F1 world champion Sir Lewis Hamilton. She has since moved into fundraising consultancy where she supports clients including UNICEF and The Black Cultural Archives to boost their fundraising programmes.
