Data protection is an ever-changing landscape and in 2024 will see further amends to UK law with the introduction of new data protection and digital information act. This law will include significant changes, including the appointment of a Senior Responsible Individual (A new mandatory role for many charities) and the ability to use ‘soft opt-in’ by charities, for the first time.
