The words of Boris Johnson, British Prime Minister, March 2020, at the start of what was about to become months of lockdown. Luckily for us, we had Jay Flynn, a former pub landlord from Lancashire who dreaded losing his right to his weekly quiz at his local pub, his chance to connect with friends and forget about the week. So he created a virtual pub quiz.
I reached out to Jay who I didn’t know to offer my support, ever since we have been working together on the quiz.
