In 2022, Chris took a huge step out of his comfort zone leaving the mental health charity world to join MND Scotland in a new role as Director of Stakeholder Engagement an Fundraising. He leads a directorate that includes fundraising, comms and digital, involvement and policy and campaigns teams. MND Scotland is here to make time count for people with motor neuron disease.

Chris worked for 20 years in mental health charities, leading on workplace mental health and corporate partnerships for Mental Health Foundation. He designed and delivered workplace mental health programmes in business, public and charity sectors and throughout the pandemic developed content on leading for wellbeing in times of change.

Chris is passionate about compassionate, wellbeing led leadership - and is constantly learning on the job. Whilst partial to a fruit skewer and a mindfulness app, Chris believes that only changing the nature of work and our approach to organisational leadership will really make the difference we need to see in order for everyone to be able to do their best work for the causes we hold dear.
