Kitty Hazell

Bio

For over 23 years Kitty has had a successful career in fundraising, soliciting and closing donations worth millions of pounds for charitable causes.

Her experience includes managing relationships with Philanthropists around the world from Canada and the US to Thailand, Singapore, Dubai, Australia, and Indonesia. She has secured meetings and delivered support from CEOs and Chairs of some of the largest companies worldwide such as Morgan Stanley, Barclays Bank, and Bacardi. Kitty’s warm personality and ability to connect with people has allowed her to build successful working relationships with foreign dignitaries, well-known celebrities, Academy Award winning directors, sports and TV personalities.

Kitty thrives on advising C-suites, Boards and Fundraising teams on how to ensure their organisation is prepared to manage high-level giving programmes. If the organisation is not ready, she is equipped to advise on the activities needed and able to implement the key components required to deliver targets. This includes everything from analysing the database to determine the capacity of prospects, to crafting the "ask", through to follow up once the gift is in place to ensuring the organisation has the tools needed to steward relationships in preparation for the next gift.

Kitty offers advice, guidance, mentoring and training for staff and stakeholders on how to cultivate relationships and build sustainable giving programmes. Interim management roles allow Kitty the opportunity to use her many years of experience to ensure fundraising teams are working at optimal levels upon her departure.
