Nicolassa Galvez

I’ve worked in the nonprofit sector for over 17 years, including the opening of a community arts center in downtown Long Beach. In 2018, I graduated from CSULB with a masters degree in social justice. I’m currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Arts Council for Long Beach and co-chair of their Community Arts Project Committee. After venturing into the corporate marketing space for a few years, I returned to the nonprofit sector in 2020 as the Campaign Director for Long Beach Gives, bringing my marketing, community relations, and nonprofit experience to lead the annual, online, citywide giving day.
