Tamara Tripp is the Director of Individual Philanthropy at Food and Water Watch, a US based advocacy nonprofit. Tamara oversees a national major gifts team, mid-level giving and also oversees special event fundraising for Food & Water Watch. Tamara and her team took an in-person Benefit scheduled for March 24, 2020 and turned it into a successful virtual fundraiser--more than tripling the original goal and including celebrity guests Jane Fonda, Sarah Cooper and Mark Ruffalo.
With nearly 20 years of nonprofit development experience, Tamara is committed to the nonprofit environmental community, having worked at places such as the Wildlife Conservation Society, Brooklyn Botanic Garden and the Garden Conservancy. Tamara also has a Master’s in Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from NYUWagner.
When Tamara isn't raising money, she's running a small mushroom farm in New York called Hudson Valley Mushrooms.
