Vicky Browning has headed up ACEVO, the network of civil society leaders, since February 2017. ACEVO wants to see civil society leaders making the biggest possible difference. Vicky works to deliver ACEVO’s purpose of inspiring and supporting civil society leaders in their ambition to create change. She joined ACEVO from CharityComms, the network for charity communications professionals, where she was director for six years. Previously, Vicky spent 16 years as a magazine journalist, editor, publisher and board-level director at Haymarket Publishing, the UK's largest privately owned publishing company, including a stint in New York where she failed spectacularly. This was followed by six years as an independent publishing and management consultant.
