Talk Details
For this session, Sarah, Judith and Matt bring together not just their experience as coaches and trainers, but collectively over 50 years’ working in and for the charity sector across fundraising, communications and marketing.
The expectations we face at work can be challenging, and especially so if there are additional pressures in other parts of our lives. This is exacerbated because those who choose to work in the charity sector, as you do, are incredibly dedicated, working hard towards a cause you believe in, but this can come at a high cost when hard work slips in to overwhelm, stress and frustration.
In this session we will bring attention to this problem with overwhelm and help you to start clearing a path towards celebrating all you bring to the table each day at work, so you can be the confident leader you want to be and thrive. We will share tools and tips for helping you create space, time to think in your week where you can focus on those tasks that really matter, saying no to those ‘sparkly’ ideas that can cause a distraction rather than give direction. #BeingYourOwnBestFriend
Three things’ people will learn:
- A deeper understanding of cause and impact of overwhelm
- Practical tools to support thriving leadership
- How to find more energy, every day of the week
