Talk Details
Small, grassroots charities are often told to “demonstrate impact” in the same way as large, well-
resourced organisations but the reality is very different. With limited time, capacity and systems, impact
can easily become something that feels like a burden rather than a powerful tool.
In this session, Tranai Todd, CEO of Support Through Sport, will share a practical and honest perspective
on how a growing charity has developed its impact story while staying rooted in its community. Drawing
on real experience, he will explore how impact can be embedded across delivery, fundraising and
communications to create meaningful supporter touchpoints that build trust, deepen relationships and
drive long-term support.
Key learnings from this session:
This session will move beyond theory and focus on what actually works in practice. Attendees will leave
with simple, actionable ways to capture, communicate and repurpose impact without overcomplicating it,
and with a clearer understanding of how authentic storytelling and joined-up working can turn everyday
delivery into powerful engagement
