Feature talked: The Great Donor Detective: Cracking the Case on New Supporters

Finding the right supporters for your cause doesn’t have to feel like guesswork. In this session, you’ll learn how to take a strategic, investigative approach to uncovering the people most likely to say ‘yes’ to your mission—so you can spend less time chasing the wrong leads and more time building real connections.

We'll cover:

  • How to build a clear picture of your ideal supporters – Who genuinely cares about your cause, and how do you identify them?
  • Finding the ‘yes’ people already in your network – From event attendees to board connections, there are potential supporters closer than you think.
  • Turning interest into lasting relationships – Once you’ve identified the right people, how do you keep them engaged? Discover practical strategies for building meaningful connections that lead to long-term support.
  • Whether you’re new to fundraising or looking to refine your approach, this session will give you the tools to find and cultivate the right donors—without the detective hat.

Join us May 7th to get insights and pracitcal tips on getting new supports, and have an opportunity to network with fellow fundraisers!
