Anne Bateman (MSW, MPA, MinstD) is a strategic grant/ bid writer (as well as evaluator and management consultant) who has led many strategic funding development initiatives in the US and New Zealand. These initiatives have resulted in over $65M in funding awarded to the organisations she has worked with. She is the Director of Bateman Consulting (batemancg.com) and the co-founder of Progressum Training and Coaching (progressum.org). Anne has had various roles, including executive management, governance, development, funding, quality improvement and clinical practice. She holds a Master of Science in Social Work, a Master of Public Administration and completed the Stanford Graduate Business School Executive Program for Non-Profit Leaders (EPNL). Anne began her career as a clinician and has spent the last 15+ years working at a systems level in various levels of government as well as NGOs. She is originally from the United States and moved to New Zealand in 2010.
