Damian Chapman

Damian Chapman is a consultant and speaker who helps organisations understand why their systems succeed or break down, and what it really takes to create environments where people can perform at their best. His work sits at the intersection of behavioural science, systems thinking, and practical organisational design. He is known for taking complex patterns that leaders sense but cannot quite name and making them visible, usable, and fixable.

After many years working inside charities and mission driven organisations, Damian saw the same pressures play out again and again. People were working hard, but the system around them was working against them. Fundraiser In The Room was created to tackle that problem head on. Damian now works with leadership teams across sectors to diagnose organisational friction, redesign how value flows, and build cultures that support clarity, confidence, and sustainable performance.

Damian’s commitment to fundraising extends into his voluntary roles with The Elischer Foundation, Fundraising Regulator, Chartered Institute of Fundraising, and Rogare – the fundraising think tank.
