Like many third sector professionals, Emma accidentally fell into fundraising but very intentionally stayed there, having discovered a passion for connecting people to causes and making amazing things happen for people in our communities. Emma has twelve years’ experience leading local and national fundraising teams, delivering national campaigns, and leading a £3.9m capital appeal for Sue Ryder. Emma is currently Director of Fundraising for Charlie House, a children’s charity based in Aberdeen, where she is leading the charity’s £8m Big Build Appeal to create a respite and hospice centre for children.
