Helen Alderson
Helen Alderson is the Founder and CEO of Social AF, the UK’s specialist social media moderation for the third sector. Since launching in 2021, Social AF has worked together with charities such as Mind, Samaritans, and Diabetes UK on its Facebook Challenges, helping to raise more than £26 million.
Social AF offers Facebook Group and Virtual Challenge moderation, delivered by supporter-centred moderator teams. They also provide social media moderation across paid, organic, and campaign content on a fully bespoke basis — protecting charity reputations and ensuring every supporter feels seen and supported. Helen is passionate about creating safe, inclusive and engaging online spaces for charities.
