Paul has worked in various fundraising roles in the charity sector over the last decade, raising millions of pounds to help support good causes. Driven by the excitement of discovering new ways of delivering work more effectively, efficiently and profitably, he has innovated new approaches to income generation throughout his career.
From small changes to postal packs that delivered large increases in income in his very first role in the sector, to leading the first Fundraising team in Europe to launch Facebook Donate, through to delivering new strategic approaches to delivering whole programmes, Paul is driven by a desire to grow, diversify and improve the ways charities fundraise.
Currently working as Director of Business Development at Engaging Networks, Paul works with charities across the sector to help them transform their approach to online giving, donor acquisition, cross-sell and targeting. As the world increasingly moves online, he is keen to help the charity sector keep pace and develop sustainable, dynamic and successful approaches to online giving.
Before moving into the charity sector, Paul led a sales and marketing team in the corporate sector and before that, studied towards a PhD in Neuroscience. His background has led him to drive, measure and forecast the effect of new activity in ways that are focused on commercial impact, data-led and transparent.
