“I had a great time at Pizza for Losers, and have never been gladder to have signed up for an event. What a refreshing take on a charity conference” – Jenny Benson
“Absolutely fantastic event. I don’t think I’ve ever attended an event like this where every speaker was so open and honest. It created such an honest, relaxed, and supportive atmosphere – needed in a sector that we all so clearly love” – Danielle St Romaine
Tell me more!
Join Pizza for Losers on June 30th 2026 to be uplifted and inspired by the real fundraising fails lurking behind the success we see highlighted across the sector.
That charity campaign raising millions? Failed horrendously on its first launch.
That speaker you see crushing it? Had their confidence shattered by multiple job rejections.
During the afternoon, our speakers will share their failure stories, taking you through what they learned about themselves – and their approach to failure – from the experience.
Then we all cheer, eat pizza, and settle the pineapple debate once and for all.
We’ll also be covering some science-y bits about why our brains work the way they do and what to do about it, and run some workshops so you take away practical tools for overcoming (and avoiding) fundraising, career, and wellbeing fails.
You’ll leave with:
🍕 a failure menu toolkit to act as your guide to managing failure, overwhelm, and self-doubt
🍕 skills to build and grow a safe working environment that encourages innovation and growth
🍕 the confidence to innovate or move forward with your fundraising goals
🍕 a higher sense of wellbeing and emotional safety
🍕 a feeling of community and connection to the sector and people within it
🍕 the knowledge of what to do – and what not to do – when things don’t work out
🍕 the confidence to push yourself that little bit further to be the best that you can be
And who knows? Maybe one of our speakers will share a fundraising story very similar to your own and you’ll know what you have to do next.

Workshops
New for 2026: Coaching workshops
Following our eight Ted-Talk style failure talks, attendees can choose from one of the three coaching workshops to learn practical skills to avoid their own fails; and have the opportunity to network with other attendees and process the energy and stories heard throughout the day.
Option 1: Losing with Confidence, with Judith Sabah
acknowledge, accept and address losing and to be provided with tangible support to
approach their challenge with confidence.
Trainer (short video appearance). During this collaborative and supportive session, you will
be led through a simple group coaching approach. Providing both support in the moment
from peers to approach a challenge and also a tool to take back to their workplaces as a way
to create space, clarity, confidence and clear next steps.
We expect and hope individuals to leave the ‘Loosing with Confidence’ session:
• More confident, clearer and lighter
• More connected to yourself and your peers
• And more hopeful about what’s next
